Our company does not have a LMS today. How can I publish captivate projects from PowerPoint in a way that users across my company are able to view the training, click to advance slides, and access the final slide with a link to a quiz?

I’ve tried publishing using HTML and executable formats to no avail. I see the video option but would prefer a format that does force learners to advance slides at their own pace as opposed to preset times / duration of scripts.

Hi, you can publish as HTML5, uncheck the option “zip files”, your content will be inside a folder that we willl name “my_project” or any name you choose, if you have access to a hosting service and a domain that we will name “www.mydomain.com”, you must access to your files inside the hosting, maybe with “Filezilla” client, search for “public_html” folder, open it, do not touch the files inside just load the folder “my_project”, now you can access to your course via web browser, the URL will be something like “http://mydomain.com/my_project”

All the users now can view the course, even you can set a password to access before publish your project. Without an LMS you will not have a record of users or visitors, but you meet the goal of reviewing the course.

Personally, it sounds like you don’t need Cp for this course. If the content is just click and read (having authored it in PPT) have you considered using a slide hosting platform like Powtoon? You can export PPT slides via an extension. You don’t say how you’ve authored the quiz so I can’t comment on that.

Hope this helps

Chris
