Video edit

I am trying to update a course that was created in Captivate. There is a video in the course that needs to be edited.  I need to delete/remove some video and make the audio match-up. Does Captivate have the ability to make such edits or am I going to need to reshoot the video or put the video in to another editing tool of some type?

Lieve has some good questions. However, if you have a straight-up video with audio, you might be able to use Paul’s instructions to remove a chunk of the video. I haven’t tried this, but you could likely put the part you don’t want on a slide and then just skip over that slide.

You need to replace the video, maybe use the same slide, you need the source material or the original file, edit the material and import it again into Captivate. If you don´t have the original file you can export the video from the Captivate Library and save it to your hard drive.
