It is possible to copy selected slides from one Captivate 12.5 project to another Captivate 12.5 project. Copy and paste works from within a single project, but I have 2 projects that I’d like to “merge” into a single simulation without having to start from scratch with recording and customizing each slide as needed. Is this possible?
I just did this for a client of mine. I recorded two simulations, one a Demo and the other a Training. The client wanted the students to perform the mouse clicks for the Training, but they wanted the typing text from the Demo. I copied and pasted all the typing text slides from the Demo and pasted them in the appropriate positions in the Training. I had to perform the usual tweaking during the edit phase, but this process worked fine.
Hi,
Thank you for your query.
Yes, you can copy selected slides from one Captivate 12.5 simulation project to another. However, please check the projects dimensions while copying slides to maintain consistency in layout and design.
