I am creating a responsive e-learning project that is compatible with larger (desktop, laptop) and smaller (mobile) screens, however, closed captions have a hard time fitting in mobile size screens and overlap the content. I am wondering if there is a way we can disable cc when they do not fit in the screen. Thanks in advance.
This tutorial details the steps to use multistate objects wherein the content changes in a single object using buttons, and keeping the next button hidden until all the buttons are clicked, without the use of advanced actions. This is achieved by the following 4 steps:
1. Name the slide ‘multistate’.
2. Name the multistate object ‘ms_[interaction name].
3. Name the buttons ‘[interaction name]’_user defined button name’.
4. Name the next button to be hidden ‘[interaction name]_completed’.
This method saves a lot of time compared to forced navigation using advanced actions that involve variable creation and action assignment.

I see below error message while uploading the sample project here in eLearning adobe portal, requesting assistance.
Hello, as you can see in the below image, red lines appear in preview as well as published output (HTML5), I need to get rid if these red lines, I am new to fluid boxes. Requesting assistance. Note My first time using fluid boxes, and multi-state without actions (state change via nomenclature of slides and objects)
I have accumulated 500+ (Master) points, and am trying to avail them for captivate prime, but it does not recognise my email, requesting assistance.
I seem to have difficulty in finding a way to highlight the cursor in video demonstration (a circle around the mouse for example), this is available in less quality focussed software, surely there must be a way to do it here in captivate. Any suggestions?
While it is straight forward to add closed captions (cc) to slide voiceovers, I seem to have hit the roadblock when it comes to adding cc to an object containing audio (using actions) that is enabled via user input. Is there a way to do this using advanced actions?
While neo speeches are a good addition to captivate, the voice modulation sounds seem outdated compared to current market quality. An alternative is to use text to voice online software such as IBM project, but this surely takes extra effort. I am wondering if it is possible to increase the scope of voice integration within captivate.
This is kind of a brain teaser, I have SVG images turned to buttons with multistate colour changes, while this works well when published with SCORM enabled HTML5, it does not when published as HTML5 with SCORM disabled. I use HTML5 with SCORM disabled for review purpose. With SCORM
Is there a way to define playbar designs specific to slides (not talking about custom playbar buttons) rather than the same playbar functions for the entire project?
When I was asked to create a simple but impressive RPA video demo, I counter requested a market standard video editing software over traditional PowerPoint. Post approvals, I was directed to browse and propose the intended software, and after comparing Adobe Captivate and TechSmith Camtasia, I chose the former going by the brand value and have not regretted the decision since. What started as a video demo and software simulation development initially, slowly but steadily increased my curiosity to explore […]
I am creating e-learning content and want to change the available buttons (play, pause, slide bar etc) on the play bar specific to slides, I know that captivate gives playbar settings under project menu along with TOC, but this option reflects for the entire project.
