Hello, I am using Adobe Captivate 2019 Release. I have made several CBTs all using the Date Variable $$cpInfoCurrentLocaleDateString$$ but on my current CBT, the date is not printing out in full. It is only displaying September 6, 20 – so it is not showing 2019. Any thoughts on why this is happening. I have looked at all my system settings and past versions of CBTs and can’t find any difference between the new one and the old ones. Thank […]
2017 Captivate. Further to the post in 2017 by JoeQ, creating this Advanced Action worked great for one slide. Is it possible to do this on all slides so that if the user returns to any slide in the Captivate project, the audio would not play the 2nd time around? Does that mean I need to make multiple ‘playonce’ advanced actions – one for each slide seperately?
Captivate 2017 – I have created several CBTs. Some have audio and some don’t. Can I set it up so that the user can Stop the video at any point in the CBT and restart in the same spot or does it always have to start at the beginning?
I use 2017 Captivate Release 10.0.1.285. I have numerous CBTs that I have created where the User must print a Certificate after completing the Quiz. The only date I can seem to enter is $$cpInfoCurrentDateString$$ but that produces a numerical date only (i.e., 03/09/2019). How can I update this so that it print March 9, 2019?
I am using an Action ‘Send Email to” on Exit so that the user can email a PDF of the certificate of completion to a safety officer in the company. Is it possible to program the Email so that a subject line is automatically populated? For instance, when the Email pops up, the subject line says “certificate of completion for safety program”. Right now the Email subject line and body text is completely blank so the User would have to […]
Hello, I am a new user to Adobe Captivate 2017 Release 10.0.1.285. I have inserted a variable ($$cpQuizInfoStudentName$$) on a full-page certificate at the end of a Quiz. I need to also have a second wallet-size certificate with the same information but I want to enter it manually. It appears that the variable from the first certificate is automatically entered on the next slide and I don’t know how to turn it off so that I can enter it manually.
I am using Adobe Captivate 2017 Release 10.0.1.285. I have created a certificate to be printed by the user once they complete/pass the Quiz. I have included the variable of $$cpInfoCurrentDateString$$ as the Date of Issue. I need to put an expiry date on a certificate as well but it needs to be 3 years out from the date of issue. Is this also possible? Can you help me with the coding? I am a new user so I do […]
