Adobe Captivate Preview and Published are different

Every time I preview a slide one slide at a time, the text effects work perfectly. When I preview from that slide or preview the entire project my text objects don’t appear at all.

Any solutions?

Here a link to one of the blogs you really need to read, have a complete series about the Timeline which is the most occurring origin of questions on all forums.

Suspicion confirmed. You have at least two buttons (top of the stack in the timeline) which are pausing the playhead at 1.5 secs. Everything scheduled to appear after that pausing point will not do so. You may be confused because the audio continues playing, but that is the default setting, you can pause it but if you didn’t choose that option, it will just continue playing.

Solution: move the pausing point for those button so that they occur after the appearance and en of the effect on the last object. You can do so by dragging the pausing points or by typing the time in the Timing properties.

BTW please update to 11.0.1.266.

This is probably a Timeline issue.  Can you insert a screenshot of the Timeline? If you have effects, expand the effect timelines as well. Tell also which version you are using, the full version number please.

If you are publishing to HTML5 and this is a non-responsive project (type of project is not mentioned) the only HTML preview is F11 Preview HTML in Browser.
