While running ‘Executable’ (Captivate project’s published file) in Windows 7, the program runs fine but while closing (while exiting) it always gives an error “This program requires Flash.OCX which is no longer included in this version of Windows.” Even I installed different version of Flash Player but that message is still coming.
Any idea to solve this?

Reason why I never use exe (nor interactive pdf) anymore. Both are SWF-based. Forget about them. I don’t see an alternative at this moment.
right, but there is a reason why sometimes I prefer executable. And the reason is, HTML output is no way secure as far as our hard work is a concern … anyone can download /copy and edit !! While, when we give executable output, it is not that much simple for other to edit ….
I gave been using EXE and interactive pdf a lot as output in the past. It is not the Captivate team who decided about EOL for the Flash Player. Captivate was pure Flash-based, and they have done a great job to transfer it to HTML5 output.
There must be ways to secure output. But hackers always find a way. I cannot count the number of times my content was stolen and even sold.
correct… Hackers can do it anyhow ….but out of 1000 one can edit Executable … so we were safe to a certain extent…
but with HTML output, any person(even newbie) can do (edit our program and take credit)
