Fade option for effects?

Hello: Just wondering if there is a fade option for effects in Captivate 2017? I have it setup and working for page entry but can’t see it as an effect in the numerous effect options available (e.g. fly-in). I use fade for text boxes extensively in PowerPoint and would really like the same look in Captivate2017. Am I missing it, or is it not available as an effect? Thanks!

Yes, it’s located on the timing panel right below the effects area. It’s labelled as “transitions”. Set the drop down menu to “fade out” and select the number of seconds you want it to take to fade from view.

Fade in and Fade out exists for each object, but is not labeled as an effect (still works contrary to slide transitions). You can combine them with effects, which is probably the easiest way. If you want to have a similar effect to fading you can use Alpha From To.
