I have not looked recently, but know there have been past demo videos and examples of some of the features of Captivate. Although typically I am looking for tutorials, this time I am not. I know how to (or know how to find) most of those. Also, I have my own projects but I would like to show a few leaders here on campus what is possible using just generic content or at least non-our college content.
They want to see examples of videos/lessons using the Table Of Contents feature, knowledge checks during the lesson, quizzes that require viewing of the content before attempting the quiz, and getting a certificate at the end of the video/lesson. I might end up create an example, but we are under a VERY short deadline (Nov2nd) so I wanted to reach out here first.
Even if I can get links to some videos of some of these features, that would be great. Interactive preferred but optional.
Thank you!
Maybe try to look for adobe presenter examples? They are very similar, and you can do in Captivate what Presenter does.
I see I did not respond to your reply last fall. I did see it, and thank you for your comment!
Have a look at my blog, I have plenty of embedded published Captivate videos about all types of use cases.
Lieve, your blog is one of the places I always go. And I did get lost in cool things for my work for awhile..haha.
What I need to show them tho is not a tutorial on HOW to do it (that is what I will do) but just the end product. That is why I was thinking there might be marketing material for it or something…so far I have not found what I need. Allan P had one that showed the transparent background but it too was a tutorial. I looked to see if I could find just the video he did but came up empty. I apologize I did not make the more clear…tutorials are what ppl are typically looking for.
I have embedded several published CPTX-files. Here are some direct links:
Thank you, Lieve. Appreciate these links! 🙂 I created a project that had some examples, and once I hear their feedback may use them to show more. I really want to wow, them so this helps. thanks again!
Hello Wendy Prantner,
Below mentioned couple of Captivate tutorial links,

Thank you for your time, Dominic! After posting yesterday when I was away from my computers and now after reading your and Lieve’s comments, I realized I did not make it clear that I am looking just for the end product. Typically we are looking for tutorials, so your replies are still appreciated and appropriate for how I wrote that question.
