Why is my smart shape being stupid?

I am an agile coach and an executive leadership coach. I typically work with organizations who want to transform their culture, often involving many people, like my current client of 300,000 people. I'm hoping to learn to do eLearning well enough to scale myself.

Summary

Smart shape text squishing in mobile view even tho position is %

The title not-so-smart shape in the fluid box in the image is fine in desktop view, but cuts off text when I preview the breakpoint of a mobile, even though I chose % instead of pixels.

Any suggestions?

PS  Highly likely that the stupid one is me, not captivate!  🙂

You have issues with Fluid Boxes. That shape is in a fluid box, the Position Properties have not meaning in that case (the other thread showed a button for whom the position was defined by the Position Properties, not this one.

If you have text in a text container within a fluid box, it should change the font size fluidly, but that will only be visible in the Browser, not in editing environment.

Beware: the pausing point of the topmost shape button is still at 1.5secs.
