Hey, everyone! I’m struggling to find the perfect balance between text-based and visual content. How do you create visually engaging courses without overwhelming learners with information?

Hey there! One tip is to use visuals strategically to support and reinforce the text-based content. For instance, instead of having a lengthy paragraph, you can break it down into shorter sections and add relevant images or diagrams. Visuals can help convey complex concepts quickly and make the content more digestible for learners.

Another effective technique is to use a mix of text-based slides and interactive visual elements. For instance, you can introduce a concept with concise text and then follow it up with an interactive scenario or simulation that allows learners to apply what they’ve learned. This way, you’re providing a dynamic learning experience while keeping the content engaging and meaningful.

By not forgetting the audio. Audio is much more important than most IDs estimate. Please avoid ‘dead by the bullet’ as is often the case with PPT-like ‘courses’.  Sorry for that critical note. Learning is not dumping information but engaging learners by interactivity and control over their learning travel.
