Close Caption is not remaining on screen when audio has stopped.

Hi All – I am new to Captivate. My issue is that when I publish a video and load it into our LMS, the closed captions will disappear after the audio has finished for a slide before the next slide starts. Some slides have click buttons and other slides are just extended in time a bit after the audio stops to allow for a smoother transition. How do I get the Close Caption box to remain on the screen while waiting for the user to select the click box or when there is no audio? I have seen this done in other captivate videos so I know it can be done. My goal is to always keep the CC box visible.

I am using captivate 2019 and am publishing to SCORM 1.2. Any help would be apricated. Thanks!

I am not sure which exact version you are using, because CP2019 covers 3 main releases (11.0, 11.5 and 11.8). Please find the full version number under Help, About Captivate.

Since you are using CC, I think you are talking about slide audio. You’ll have the text visible until the end of the audio timeline. You can eventually add some noise to the audio clip at the end to extend the audio timeline till the end.
