The Twin Cities E-Learning Developer’s Group is a new group I started the group in January because I was looking for a space to meet other e-learning developers for hacking, experimenting, exchanging ideas and improving my skills through helping others solve problems. I wasn’t able to find a local group that provided these kinds of hands-on interactions, so, inspired by similar groups in other cities, I decided to create one. If you’re in or around the Twin Cities in Minnesota, I’d like to invite you to join us.
If you’re in or around the Twin Cities in Minnesota, I’d like to invite you to join us in the new Twin Cities E-Learning Developer’s Group.
It’s free to join and open to instructional designers and e-learning developers who would like to meet others to network, exchange ideas and knowledge, get help with ongoing projects and learn new tools and techniques in a welcoming and supportive environment.

Membership is growing slowly, but steadily, and I have scheduled our first free Adobe Captivate hands-on workshop for next month (March 2019).
Meetings will be scheduling meetings on the first and third Saturday every month in the following formats:
Every 1st Saturday, we will host a “Hack and Help” session. These will have no formal agenda. Instead, they will provide a safe and welcoming space to come meet up with others and work on your e-learning projects. Bring a laptop/tablet and get help and or give help or just hang out and work alongside others in the same boat.
Beginning in March, every 3rd Saturday, we’ll host hands-on workshops. These will be an opportunity to learn new skills or share what you know with others. Group members are encouraged to lead sessions in their area of expertise. Just let me know and I will schedule you on the calendar.
I’d be happy to answer any questions or hear suggestions from others with similar groups. Please either post your comments below or Message me on meetup from the group’s page.
I look forward to meeting you!
