How to Avoid redundant label editing?
September 4, 2019

Hi! Our company projects will consist of  the  software simulations of “Show Me”, “Try It” and “Test Me” modes. In other words,  Demo, Assessment and Training.  When I’ve created tests, the labels that are created don’t appear to be linked.  So, if I change a label’s, background, font, and text, I have to change all of the versions one at a time.  Is there a way to link these, so I don’t have to do this?  Thanks!

If you create software sims in the three modes, you do create indeed three different files.  There is no link between them at al.  For a Show/Try/test situation I mostly copy/paste slides to one file, adding a menu slide with links to the three types of sims. But I think you want to keep them separate? I would label in FIle Explorer or the equivalent Finder if you are on Mac.

Just a tip: if you aim HTML5 output due to the EOL for SWF output, I would recommend if possible to replace the Demo mode by a Video Demo project to avoid problems with FMR slides. Or at least replace the FMR slides by Video Demo slides.
