I am using the certificate widget for those who get 80% or higher.  I have the advanced actions working but I don’t know how to get the variables such as course name or grade to show.  The user name and date are populating.

Hope you talk about the Learning Interaction ‘Certificate’ because the widget in the widgets folder of the Library is not functional for HTML output.

How did you test? The name of the learner is the value of the system variable cpQuizInfoStudentName which will be retrieved from the LMS when uploaded to it.  Other way is to populate it by asking for the learner’s name (less secure).

Course name will be retrieved from a system variable which you populate in the dialog box to be opened with File, Project Info. Date from the system date.
