Long story short – I cannot make advanced actions work.
I am trying to apply an advanced action on a text box entry and it will not work. I’ve captured the simulation and I’m editing certain slides. On one slide I have a text_box_entry over a form field where the user is to enter a phone specific number.
In the On Success setting I have Execute Advanced Actions | TBE_4_Check. (see featured image). I hope the featured image is sufficient to show what I’m attempting to execute.
When I preview the project the ‘execute advanced actions’ do not work. Would someone be kind enough to help my understand why this is not working.

Sorry, but you didn’t attach the image at all. Can you please use the ‘Choose File’ button to point to the image?
I have a slight memory to have answered this already in the Adobe forums, but get insulted when I mention that. If I find the thread, will post a link. I answered that you didn’t need an advanced action at all (you would also lose a possible score if you do that) but needed to validate the Text Entry Box and use the Success action. The problem with the unnecessary advanced action was a user bug. I also pointed to several blogs about the basics of Text Entry Boxes. Here is one link:
