Knowledge Check Overlay Issue

Hello,

I’ve imported a video from Youtube, and created some knowledge check slides as overlays for the video.

However, some slides/overlays allow me to select the answer before continuing and other slides move on (continuing to play the video) without even selecting an answer or the submit button first.

How can this be correct?

FYI, i’m using Captivate 19

ok, based on your article, i may be experiencing issues because I am using a responsive project. One of the tips stated the following:

“use a non-responsive theme, because the Quizzing master slides in a Fluid Boxes theme have a setup with fluid boxes. ”

Is there no other way to correct it?

It is not possible to use fluid boxes with slide video. That is the reason for my comment. Each interactive video IS slide video because it needs to be synchronized with Captivate’s Timeline.

Hence the reason for my comment.  You need to set up at least the slide with the interactive video without fluid boxes. Have a look at this blog:

The most recent version of Captivate is 11.5.5.553 (for Win) which is one of the multiple releases under the common name CP2019. Check the version under Help, About Captivate please.

Without knowing exactly how you did set up the Knowledge Check slides, it is difficult to propose solutions for your problem. The KC slides are based on the quizzing master slides, which are part of the Theme.  I explained some details about setting up overlay slides in this blog post, which could maybe clarify:
