Editing the Presenter project video
I want to make sure I did not miss something. It looks like Presenter and Presenter Video Express are great on their own but do not work together. I wanted to use the Video Express editor to edit the Presenter project. In particular, I wanted to select what is displayed (the slide, presenter, or both). From what I can see the Express editor needs a project file and the Presenter does not create one. I can use any editor to combine the videos produced but can’t edit the presenter video directly (other than cropping it). If anyone knows of a way to do this please let me know. The training videos are a little misleading, and I thought this function was in Presenter.
Although I am not a user of Presenter, nor Video XPress but fear you will not get an answer I’ll offer you some answers. Presenter is essentially a PPT plugin, same way as iSpring and Articulate Presenter. Video XPress is another application, which used to be a simple way to capture screen video at the same time as the camera. Its functionalities are now built completely in Video Demo, which is an application packaged with the eLearning authoring tool Captivate.
What is your goal really? Do you want to create software videos or do you want to use existing PPTs to create eLearning?
