I have a project with 7 short 2-3 minutes videos, the longest about 7min. There are basic true false and multiple-choice questions interspersed between each. There are no complex actions involved. Once a slide with a video ends, the questions come in and when answered, the next video begins and so on.

I’ve purposely exported the videos in standard definition to minimize file size. With all the videos included the project weighs approx. 300mb. All are encoded as MP4 and use the settings recommended by Adobe for Captivate videos. Because they require Close Caption, I’ve set them up as Slide Video and inserted directly from computer.

When I preview the project from my computer, everything works well, the issue occurs when I upload it to SCORM Cloud to test. Whenever I pause the project to answer the questions and then press play again the audio plays, but the video does not, it stays frozen. This requires a refresh and/or restart.

I’ve checked all the Media Encoder setting to ensure that all my settings correspond with fast decoding speed on playback. I’ve also checked on Captivate for any misplaced pause breaks on the timeline, turned off pause video from the options setting, ensured there are no misplaced actions etc. At this point I can’t think of anything that may cause this to happen.
