You don’t give many details, will try to give a ‘possible ‘ answer. If the control panel disappeared in the Timeline panel for all projects, it could mean that Captivate suffers of some corruption. Try to clear the cache (Preferences, General settings has a button to do so). If that is not helping, clean the Preferences. That can be done by closing Captivate, finding the subfolder ‘utils’ in the installation folder and run the CleanPreferences… file appropriate for your OS. More information in this blog:
