Discrepancy in Quiz reporting

When I created the quiz in Captivate, I made it mandatory for the users to answer all questions. It will not allow the user to submit the quiz till they answered all the questions. However, we see that in spite of answering all the questions and getting a score, ALM does not report the score correctly.

I uploaded this quiz under ‘Testout’.

  1. For Example – Someone who got all the answers correct is getting a score of 11.3% instead of 100%

Will appreciate any help..

Thanks!

Also make sure you are running the most up to date version of Captivate for your release. I seem to recall there was a scoring bug in an earlier release. For example if you are on 2019 release make sure you are running at least 11.5.5.553.

Check the Advanced Interaction panel, which you can open with F9. You will see all the scored items, you may have not only question slides but on top of them scored interactive objects.

BTW do not change the Required field in Quiz Settings to something else than ‘Optional’, because the more strict options can cause important problems. If you don’t have a Skip button and disable navigation by playbar (hide it) or TOC, the learner is not able to proceed in the quiz if an answer is not submitted.

Can you check the quiz properties for each question and see if you have assigned the correct answer scores for all of them?
