Hi. I have been using Captivate since 2017 and would also like beta. I currently work in healthcare tech that aspires to be disruptive and innovative. Having over 20 years of Adobe Creative Suite experience and having tested out Articulate Storyline, I can confidently say there is no elearning authoring tool nearly as powerful as Captivate, but the tired, glitchy, clunky UI is where it’s losing a lot of interest from less savvy IDs who just need to crank something out quick. Most IDs and EDs I know who have experience w/Captivate still don’t know how much of an effective learning experience is possible with this tool, both synch and asynch.

It has been at least a month since I last look for a charming update. So many things have happened since we first expected Charm to be released, including the beta version of ChatGPT. So, I asked them for an update and this post was flagged as the most recent.

Did you get access to the beta?

I am paying the subscription only to be able to maintain existing courses.  You pay monthly, but you cannot cancel part-way through a year.  So basically, we have paid for Captivate 2019 many times over for old and tired software.  As many have said – communication has been hopeless.  I avoid Adobe where I can.

They either need to confirm the product is coming or it is being discontinued.  Either way, the subscription should be greatly reduced.
