Captivate worked normally on Friday (2/3/23), but this morning when I attempt to update the Captivate to match ppt edits, I get a gray screen. I see others have had this issue since 2021, but see not solution. I have tried clicking Edit Slide, Edit Presentation and finding Presentation in Library. I have tried working with a new copy of the Cpt file and a new copy of the ppt. Nothing is working. Fixes?
Please mention the full version number, I suspect it is CP2019 but there have been so many releases under that common name. If you are on 11.8, I can confirm that many issues with PPT import were mentioned everywhere and AFAIK I didn’t see any bug patch. Maybe it is on its way?
You could try the usual troubleshooting tips (Clear Cache, Clean Preferences) but I am not very hopeful. More in:
