Theoreticcally that should be possible, but I have no experience with Tamil. There are two workflows possible in Captivate:

  1. Using Word: “File, Export, Project Captions and Closed Captions” will create a two-column document, where you are supposed to translate the right column to the new language. Then use “File, Import, Project Captions and Closed Captions” to have the translation imported. Do not edit any name of both the CPTX and Word document.
  2. Using XML is the second possibility, mainly used by professional translation companies.
