Do you mean a software simulation in training mode? Did you do the recording in Captivate Classic? In that case it depends on the LMS partially.  Is it possible to post zipped packages which are not formatted as a SCO? If the answer is yes to that question, just publish the simulation but activate zipping, and upload the output zipped folder. Instruct the LMS to unzip and launch the index.html file.

If your LMS doesn’t support these packages, you need to set up Quiz Preferences, Reporting before publishing. You could use the interactive objects in the simulation (click boxes, Text Entry Boxes) as scored objects and use the Quiz result in those Preferences as criterion. When published with Reporting on you’ll get a SCO which will automatically be a zipped folder and can be uploaded to any LMS.
