I am so confused. I downloaded the trial of Captivate today and the ONLY import option I have is word? I want to test brining in a powerpoint. The interface in the trail feels like it’s missing so much! Please help!

The new version has still limited features. It can only create responsive projects based on slide templates and containers (blocks) to be inserted and styled. Powerpoint import needs a non-responsive project like in Classic Captivate. It was never under the Import menu neither.
For PPT import you still need to use Captivate Classic (11.8.2).
