I am trying to upload Captivate HTML5 files to our company LMS (Incite) with no luck. It publishes fine, uploads fine, but when actually accessing it, it just stays on a loading screen, or what comes up is missing components, its moved and distorted etc. What would cause this? Is it a publish setting I need to adjust? Or is it the LMS? (was assured its Captivate compatible)
Some LMSs accept zipped packages, but not all of them. All LMSs will accept a SCO, which is output meant to transfer data (like score, interactions) to the LMS. I wonder if you did create a SCO?
You don’t mention the version of Captivate you are using. To set up publishing for a SCO, you need to activate Reporting under Quiz Preferences, and set it up. Did you do that?
The title of your question is different from the explanation. You should be able to publish to a webserver without the need to activate Reporting. But that is not the case when you want to upload to a webserver.
