Captivate 12 Publish to Adobe LMS?
(5)

A project created in Captivate 12.1.0.16 (New captivate) was published. My only option is HTML and publish to computer.

Published project was attempted to upload into Adobe Learning Manager and failed.

What is the protocol for uploading?

I attempted to upload .cpt file = unsuccessful.
I attempted to upload zip file = unsuccessful.

How to make projects scalable in Adobe Captivate 12?

Scalable HTML content is missing in Captivate 12 Publish settings.

That is not needed because this version can only create responsive projects, the layout and scale will automatically adapt to the available space in the browser and to the mode of the device (landscape or portrait).

Even in older versions Scalable HTML was only available for non-ressponsive projects (which do not exist in the new version). It was a great way to have the size adapt to the available space, but always in landscape mode.

If you prefer video tutorials, here is a video I did about publishing to SCORM.

Also, if you are working with Adobe Learning Manager, there is an excellent book by my friend Damien Bruyndonckx.

Did you try to publish a SCO to upload to Adobe Learning Manager?  A LMS is never supposed to accept a raw cpt file, and I am not sure if that LMS accepts packaged output and allows to unzip it and launch (it is possible with Blackboard which I know better).

A SCO should be accepted. To do so you need to set up Reporting under Quiz Preferences. You can choose a SCORM or xAPI protocol (I know that is accepted by Adobe Learning Manager). It is not necessary to have quiz slides nor scored objects, you can define criteria based on slide views as well. However due to my lack of experience with that LMS I am not sure how well it handles those criteria (some do well, others less).

Crossing my fingers that an Adobe Learning manager expert pops in to give you more details.
