I always get this error. I tried everything but only happens in my pc. Anyone can help please?

It is important to know which exact version you are using. You find the full version number under Help, About Captivate. Due to the error you mention I suspect it is a version before 11.8. Do you get the message when trying to Preview with a method other than F11, which is Preview HTML in Browser? The other methods in older versions use a SWF preview and are not valid anymore. This would be the case if you are on a non-responsive (blank) project.
Did you check the HTML Tracker under the Project menu?
