The dust has settled on the electrifying Learning Design Timer Challenge, held on May 7th and 8th at Adobe Learning World 2024! We witnessed an incredible display of creativity and talent from eLearning enthusiasts from around the globe.
What was the Challenge?
Forget months of meticulous planning. This challenge was all about creativity under pressure. Participants had a mere 45 minutes to create an eLearning project using the latest version of Adobe Captivate (version 12 and above).
This competition wasn’t just a test of speed; it was a chance to showcase innovative approaches and engaging experiences in a limited timeframe. The challenge welcomed anyone with a passion for crafting impactful learning content, from seasoned eLearning professionals to enthusiastic newcomers.
Each submission was evaluated based on several key criteria. These included:
- Innovation
- Creativity
- Engagement
- Interactivity
- Multimedia Integration
- Assessment
- Feedback Mechanisms
- Accessibility

Unveiling the Spoils of Victory
The top 3 winners will receive a certificate from Adobe and Amazon gift cards worth $500, $200, and $100 (or equivalent amount in their currency).
They will also have the opportunity to feature in Adobe’s knowledge sharing sessions, eLearning Unplugged, where they can share tips and tricks for creating prize-winning projects quickly.
Additionally, their award-winning projects will be showcased in our Community newsletters and social media channels.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who took part in the Learning Design Timer Challenge. All participants who have submitted their projects will be awarded a certificate of participation.
To celebrate everyone’s hard work and share the inspiration, we’ll be uploading all the submitted projects to our website shortly. Keep an eye on our upcoming newsletters, where we will be uploading all the submitted projects for everyone to explore and learn from.
