How can I stop my Software Simulation from Panning?
(1)

Adobe Captivate Version 12.3.0.12

I am creating a Software Simulation. I have selected a custom area. I have set the Panning dropdown to “No Panning”. When the simulation completes, it does keep panning. How can I stop this? I want to show the whole selected area the whole time.

Thank you.

I am encountering the same issue. We’ve confirmed “No Panning” and have tried generating a simulation in fullscreen capture, application window, and custom size. Regardless of the selections, Captivate pans.

Current Selections:

  • Panning: “No Panning”
  • Simulation type: “Assessment”
  • Settings:
    • Hide: System tray icon
    • Hide: Taskbar icon
    • Everything else is unchecked
  • Modes:
    • Mode: Assessment
    • Instructions: Add Instructions
    • Mouse: Unchecked all
    • Clickbox: Unchecked All (they do not apply to this assessment)
    • Input Field:
      • Automatically add Input Fields for Text Fields: checked
      • Success caption: checked
      • Failure caption: checked
      • Limit attempts to: checked with the number of attempts set to 2

Not exactly sure what to do or where to go from here. Any help is appreciated!
