Issue with creating Captivate review on copied files
October 30, 2024

I have a project where I created a captivate file (v. 12.4) and copied it to re-use the structure. Before copying it, I had created  a “review”. I have a total of 7 “chapters” based on 2 original files. The chapters based on copies seem to have a common review – I have tried to delete the reviews and create new ones, but the new reviews seem to be connected to their copy counterparts – realize this may not be 100% clear, but not sure how to describe what is happening. My end goal is to have 7 distinct reviews. Thoughts?

Hi Suzanne,

To create 7 different reviews, you need to rename the project file (.Cpt) with 7 different names (For eg Test1, Test2, Test3, Test4 and so on) and then create 7 different reviews for each one of them individually. You can also add changes to each of the project files > rename it > Then create review.

Thanks,
