Captivate 12.5 was running very slowly on my machine. I was advised by adobe that I should re-install windows 10 which I have done and now Captivate wont install at all. I get the attached message. There are suggested solutions on the web including allowing controlled folder access but this has not worked.
Is it necessary to change to windows 11? I see that someone else on this forum had the same problem and solved it with a windows 11 reset.

Try installing the latest version of Microsoft .NET:
https://dotnet.microsoft.com/en-us/download/dotnet-framework
There are other possibilities but this is the easiest solution to implement if this solves your problem. The other solutions are a little more techy.
