Rewind audio within a slide Captivate 12.6
July 30, 2025

With the All-New Captivate (Version 12.6) I want the user to be able to rewind the audio, to relisten to a bit of the audio, without going all the way back to the beginning of the slide track.  But, there is apparently no way to do this in the All New Captivate like there was in Captivate Classic.  I also don’t see anyway of setting up some kind of action, to let somebody go back partly.  Am I missing something?

Have you tried to use the Expression action and use the cpCmndGoToFrameAndResume variable and then use the secondary variable cpInfoCurrentFrame and set the negative symbol before selecting a literal of 300

That is the AA script we currently use to allow learners to rewind just a portion of the audio instead of restarting the slide. this is helpful if the slide audio is longer than 90 seconds.
