Vardenafil is a medication used to treat erectile dysfunction (ED) in men. It belongs to a class of drugs known as phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5) inhibitors. Vardenafil is typically taken orally, in tablet form, about 1 hour before sexual activity. The usual starting dose is 10mg, but depending on individual response and tolerance, it can be adjusted to a maximum dose of 20mg. The effects of vardenafil can last for 4 to 5 hours, providing sufficient time for sexual activity.
