I’m trying to put together a VR project involving a video on which I’d like to incorporate hotspots for text or bringing up images. I can insert the hotspot into the video and it appears in the timeline but the duration remains at the default 0.1 seconds and there is no way apparent to me to change it. I play the video and the hotspot appears for a tenth of a second before disappearing. This is the same whether I […]
My team is working with the new Captivate and have found, across different devices, that the preview mode does not work consistently. I tried 2 different projects today and neither would move forward to the next slides in preview. So I published them and tried to review in the LMS and they still would not move forward. Has anyone encountered this issue and resolved it? Also, we have tried to use the Share for Review feature and it always errors […]
Hello, we have created a responsive project with 12.3, not the classic version of captivate. We created the project for desktop slide size 1366 x 768. Is there a way to change Captivate’s interface to dark mode on PC? My slides are always very dark and the brightness of the UI makes seeing details in the slides very difficult without previewing the project. I’ve looked through the user guide and various forums but have only found things mentioning light/dark mode in projects, not the actual interface. Am I missing something obvious?
I am having an issues where in my projects, the slide audio will be cut off for the users (in both preview mode AND published to our LMS). It will end about 1-2 seconds prematurely. This is how it looks. I tried extending the slide length too, but the same thing happens. Should I put the audio on an object on the slide? Can I prevent this? The audio is narration that is very important for users to hear. I […]
