This is a solid start. More ID and eLearning programs should include digital design foundation courses. It is difficult to design print or web-based training without understanding (at least) the basics of color methodologies, interaction/human-computer design, font legibility, etc. I actually returned to graduate school once I realized I could design instruction, but not really “design” instruction.
