The Captivate twitter widget is now live on Captivate exchange! This widget provides a great opportunity for Captivate users to foray into collaborative learning and social learning.  You can see a quick demo of the twitter widget in a previous post here: https://elearning.adobe.com/2009/12/collaborative_learning_using_c.html . The demo shows how an eLearning course has been integrated with Twitter to enable collaborative learning. The twitter widget allows the users to collaborate with their fellow students even in an asynchronous elearning setting; and also catalyzes teacher-learner interaction.

We first demonstrated the widget at last year’s Adobe Learning Summit. It has since been modified to meet the Twitter authentication and security requirements. The workflow has also been slightly modified (I’ll post a short demo of the same soon). Meanwhile the instructions for installing and using this widget are detailed at great length here

This widget will work with Captivate 5 (win and Mac). We look forward to your feedback.
