Description: When you Google ‘Captivate 6’, the first hit you come to features this quote – “Adobe Captivate 6 software is the industry-leading elearning authoring software for rapidly creating and maintaining interactive eLearning content.” A bold statement but what does that mean in the real world? What makes one eLearning authoring tool more ‘industry-leading’ than another?

This week’s presenter, Dave Dunbar, will suggest that is comes down to versatility, in that many of today’s educational gadgets, gizmos and applications are simply one trick ponies, with very limited shelf lives.
