Topic: Starting with eLearning
Date and time: Thursday, 29th August, 2013 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM US/Pacific
Description: In this session, Renaldo Lawrence, Adobe Education Leader, will look at how he uses and plans on using various tools to help engage both students and staff. Renaldo is starting a new job in September at Chiswick School and part of his job is to ensure each department is using eLearning materials to help enhance their students learning. Besides teaching, Renaldo will work with each department to create content and work with teachers on the delivery of the content to their students. Renaldo says “the important thing for me to do is to help each of the members of staff become engaged with technology”. Even though I know they are using technology he says that he “has ideas which can help engage and push learning forward”. Ideas which include the use of iPad apps, ibooks, Adobe Captivate, and Adobe Presenter.
Suggestion for an eSeminar: Including Video in Adobe Captivate Presentations. I would love to use more video in my courses but I seem to struggle with it and getting to work across all platforms, particularly iOS devices. Also, I think better and proper use of video elements within a Captivate presentation can make a world of difference in my work.
