Make a Geo-Location Aware mLearning Project
I've been an eLearning designer and developer since 2005. In 2015 I started my own eLearning design company. I began creating Adobe Captivate video tutorials to help promote my business through my YouTube channel at https://youtube.com/captivateteacher. My intention with my YouTube videos was to attract attention from organizations looking for a skilled Captivate developer. This strategy proved successful as I've worked with clients worldwide, helping them build highly engaging eLearning solutions. In addition, my YouTube channel presented another benefit of attracting aspiring Captivate developers to seek me out as a teacher. I now offer online and onsite training on Adobe Captivate, teaching users the skills to build engaging and interactive learning.

At the 2016 Adobe Learning Summit I presented a session on creating mLearning in 60 minutes. I think my talk was successful in getting everyone excited about the possibilities behind using location aware features in Adobe Captivate, but my demo didn’t work as planned, so I thought I would share the procedures in today’s video.

In this video, I’ll show you how to make a mobile scavenger hunt project that uses the Geo Location Aware feature in Adobe Captivate 9.

What a fabulous idea!  A mobile scavenger hunt would be a great project for University Orientation offices to use in introducing new students to campuses.

You’re welcome. I’m just sorry I screwed up my demo. Hopefully the video makes up for it.

Stop that. There was no screw up. We were all there to learn, and learn is what we did. And honestly, I sometimes leaner best by seeing what CAN go wrong. Well done from start to finish good sir!
