As I have worked with Adobe Captivate to develop online learning modules I am very excited to see how easy it has become to create responsive courses. Whereas previous versions of Captivate made it very time-consuming to achieve accurate designs for the whole range of screen sizes, the new version has considerably improved. From a project management point of view, the new version with its new fluid box feature not only shortens the production time immensely, the improved workflow also guarantees a high quality of responsive course designs which contributes to better and more user friendly products – and students with more positive learning experiences. Thank you to the Adobe Captivate development team.
Hi Peter,
I am working on a course which involves a lot of structural design. I am facing issues with handling font sizes & alignment when it comes to devices with less height. How to go about achieving consistency for this project? Here’s a demo: stg02.vizualize.com/amex/
Hi Zeeshan,
I have uploaded two screenshots of the same slide on desktops of different sizes. The 1st is with large desktop with good height, 2nd is with lesser height than the first. Please observe the position of arrow head of the pop up when we hover over the blue word. For the smaller height viewports it gets displaced. It should be consistent with the position of head of the hover pop up being centered to the word. I have currently used an invisible button over the text to attach hover event. The size the of the button is 5 px wider on each side than the text.
Please assist on any solution you might have for the same.
Regards,
Vishal
