Captivate help needed please

Hello all

I’m having some trouble getting our LMS to recognise the scoring of my Adobe Captivate course. The course is published as SCORM 1.2 but when uploaded to the LMS, a certificate of completion is provided even if the pass mark was not achieved, yet the result states the course was failed. It’s very confusing for our learners. I’d really appreciate any assistance on this matter please. The LMS provider are also looking into the matter.

If you post this ‘discussion’ as a question, it will be synchronized with the Adobe Jive forums and you’ll be able to reach out to more experts.
Please tell the exact version number you are using, it should be 9.0.2.437. Did you try the course on SCORM Cloud (possible from within Captivate)? That is the best way to find out if the issue is due to Captivate or to the LMS.

Hi Lieve – sorry for the delayed response. I have managed to fix the issue through playing around with the Quiz settings in Captivate and revisiting the settings in our LMS. It was quite frustrating but I’m glad we finally have a course that’s working as expected. Thank you so much for your message and for the offer of help – it’s much appreciated.

Can you provide a screenshot of your Preferences window SHIFT+F8, specifically the Quiz Reporting section. It would be helpful to know how you have set the course up for completion criteria and other Reporting settings.
