Hi all, I’m wondering if you could share some of your favorite resources and tips for storyboarding?
We wrote a short blog post here about storyboarding;

Sketch (https://www.sketchapp.com) and Balsamiq (https://balsamiq.com) are both great for storyboarding and prototyping Paul.
Hi Lita, we like to start with good old fashioned pencil and paper. It gives us the creative freedom to pour our ideas out without the restrictions of screen sizes, devices, internet connections etc. We can be creative in the park if we want to.
We’ve put a link here to some examples we did for an IT Security module. You don’t have to be an artist, stick figures suffice 🙂

At eLearning Brothers, we just did a webinar that goes through a few different storyboarding techniques and includes some resources. It’s a great watch! http://elearningbrothers.com/webinar-recap-adaptive-storyboarding-tools/
Hi Lita,
Each time I try to add links I get an error message so I will provide you with the YouTube video titles for you to search.
I use two things. Most common is to use Microsoft Word and a variation on the following template from this eLearning Network course you can watch on YouTube. It’s called “eLearning Storyboard & Script Writing Full Course.” Searching for that title will bring you the video.
Also, I use Adobe Captivate Draft. Here are a couple of videos I’ve created on that product that you can also search for on YouTube.
“Adobe Captivate Draft 1.0.5 (235)”
“Adobe Captivate – Open Draft Storyboards in Captivate 2017”

Thanks for that Paul, I’ll go take a look! Also, I talked with Akshay at ALS and he said the reason there’s no android version of draft yet is because they are working on a browser based draft instead and it’s taking longer than they anticipated so that’s good news since I don’t do apple products!
That’s great to hear about the browser-based version! I bought an iPad Pro 9.7 when it first came out (with Pencil) specifically for Cp Draft but after using it for a couple of storyboard sessions I found that I preferred just using regular Cp or Illustrator. Sold the iPad Pro…
