Anyone know how to “reset” an animated gif in html output?

I have inserted the gif animation in the first slide, and animation also completed. then I’m going to the next slide come back animation slide. The animation not playing(reset).

I think you have discovered an issue with output to html5 – flash output supports the animation to reset and play again when visiting the slide, but not html5 – as I remember from my early days of html web development that a gif animation was reset when the browser opens the page – but of course that doesn’t happen when you place the animated gif on a slide, the browser does not refresh the page when you return to a slide.
This is a question for Adobe to answer

I don’t know which type of animated GIF. My workaround is to set the GIF to loop, and leave the slide with the Delay command in an On Enter advanced action.
