I am at the end stage of a 3 module Captivate project. I am using Captivate 9. I successfully published and sent to my university intranet. However, when we try to play the file, the “hour glass” does not change to open the project. I then opened the project in Captivate 2017 and republished. The same effect is there. What am I doing wrong?

Can you check the full version number, please? The most recent version is 9.0.2.437
If you have applied any preloader from “Edit>Preferences> Start and End”. Disable the Preloader and then publish the project and check the issue.
Also, on the first slide, please check if On Enter action is set to Pause or Continue.

How did you publish? HTML or SWF? .zip or to folder? Make sure it’s to a folder. Move that to your root directory, and call up the file as: http://yourdomain/stage3mod/index.html or some similar naming convention. Not sure if that makes any sense =)
