Same problem, no audio on iPad/iphone. Just paid for an update to 2019. Is there a fix out now for the problem? Very frustrating!!!!!

How did you cope with the AutoPlay being disabled?

Captivate 2019 does not play simple audio in Safari.  It also struggles in EI 11.  Don’t ask about auto play.  It is off.

IE11 is a very bad browser for HTML5 output, wonder why MS keeps it alive. As for Safari, it has a lot of limitations. Are you talking about slide audio or audio clips triggered in another way?

I am experiencing the same issue.  I am not using auto play.  User must start lesson.

Just get the spinning wheel in Safari but was able to get it to run on Chrome and Firefox.

Have you gotten a resolution to this? I’m experiencing the same issue with viewing Cap2019 SCORM courses on older iOS devices.

I test using a new phone (iOS 12.0.1) and an old iPad mini (iOS 9.3.5). Content plays fine on the newer device but I get a black box for the older. Knowing my learner segment… there are a lot of older devices in use and the phone is going to start ringing.

Are you aware of the fact that AutoPlay is not possible on iPad?

Have you found a solution to this?  I’m having the similar issue when viewing SCORM courses created using Captivate 2019 on older i-devices. I test using a iPad mini running (iOS 9.3.5) and I only get a black box where the video should play and no audio on the slides with voice over. It plays normally on desktops. I’ve also tested on SCORM cloud and receive the same result. Video is embedded slide video.

Any thoughts?

It’s ok no problem, I didn’t find any solution to this issue, It’s only captivate 2019 issue, and I’m already reporting this issue to Adobe community staff, but no response from adobe community staff.

Thanks Nandhakumar S. Its good to know that its out of my hands, that way at least I can specify the older devices are unsupported.
