I just bought a new subscription to Captivate 2019.
I have a MacBook Pro 15 for Mac OS apps (Adobe CC, etc) and Parallels 14 with Windows 10 for PC apps (Storyline, Office for Windows, etc.)
Is there any difference between Captivate 2019 for Mac vs Captivate 2019 for Windows?
Which Captivate 2019 should I install – Mac OS version or Windows 10 version?
Good to know – I will avoid using Adobe Captivate on a Mac per this suggestion!
Beware: I am a Windows only user. But it is very rare to get answers from Mac users in the forums for Captivate.
Only the Mac version can capture a mobile Apple device sim. There are some slight differences in menus (Preferences is an example). Not sure if this is relevant, but I see a lot more complaints by Mac users about Captivate’s performance speed. It can be just that complaints often find the way to a forum as well.
