Narration cuts off

Anyone else having problems with narration cutting off at the end? I’ve tried putting “dirty space” at the end and that does not always work. Very frustrating to have to keep re-recording and then listening to entire slide to make sure the entire narration plays back.

I’ve noticed this cut-off while doing screen recording, it seems there is a slight delay in the finalising of the audio after Stop is clicked. Leave about 10 to 15 seconds. Time can seem longer than it actually is when you’re recording yourself so use a timer otherwise 5 seconds feels like it’s 15 seconds! I learnt the hard way.

Chopping off the last few seconds of the final video is a lot easier than re-recording so leave too much rather than too little…hope that helps

I suspect you talk about slide audio. Leave a small gap before and after the audio timeline as well.  Avoid also too long audio clips, distribute over multiple slides.

I use Audacity to edit my audio files and add at least 10 seconds of silence at the end of the audio file and that will do the trick for me. The only other thing is your pause button on the slide if you’re using any. Make sure it’s placed after your audio file. Hope this helps.

Does the slide duration match the audio file?
