Avatars are great when you ;

1. can’t find a photo to suit your protagonists

2. Want to create your own style of character to suit your needs.

3. any other reason

For a food safety module I wanted a certain look NOT a real (stock photo) chef but a chef. So after a some thought an avatar seemed the best fit. I could also incorporate this into a character state. IE choose one character and states throughout the module showed the avatar originally selected.

Hexatar:

This site offers a quick and easy way to create a ‘character’ to fit numerous genres/ fields. With various characters to start from you can edit your way to a look that suits your needs.

Here’s a sample of what I created for a ‘murder mystery’ food safety module.

Summary:

When you can’t find an image to suit your needs, there’s always a way to create your own.

That’s a pretty cool asset. Thanks for pointing it out.

Lieve, thanks for taking time to comment. Have you tried Plotagon? I’m thinking interactive video if the output plays with Cp.
